Anne Foley
Anne moved to Portland in 2011 having lived on the east coast, mostly in the NYC area, until then. She has been involved with the Northeast Village as a volunteer and Associate Member since its inception. She looks forward to continuing her involvement as a member of the Village Steering Committee as the Village continues to grow and serve our community. Prior to her retirement, Anne worked as a Systems Analyst and Director of Information Systems. Anne gets great pleasure out of spending time with her two daughters and their families, one here and one in Colorado. She enjoys reading, gardening, music, art, international foods, spending time with friends and living in an urban environment so close to the coast and the mountains.
Michelle Fitzgerald
Michelle became a volunteer with NE Village in 2023 with a wish to serve seniors in her community. As a local real estate agent specializing in working with seniors, volunteering seemed like a natural extension of the work she does with her clients. Michelle has served on many boards and has extensive experience in project management and long-term planning. Having worked at many international schools as the Head Librarian she often was responsible for setting the vision, creating long-term strategies and managing large budgets. She enjoys being able to problem solve and design innovative solutions to best meet the needs and build community. Her passion centers in building community amongst her neighbors and creating opportunities for deeper connection, like a newly formed walking group for anyone in the Concordia area.
Steve Parker (Co-Chair)
Steve is a native of NE Portland. He retired a few years ago from a career as a healthcare executive. Steve enjoys staying active with outdoor activities, traveling with his wife, reading, and dining out. In addition to NEV, Steve volunteers with meals on Wheels and as a CASA.
Kim Williams (Co-Chair)
Kim joined NEV in 2022 after she and her husband (fellow NEV member Chris Rauber) moved to Portland from the San Francisco Bay Area to be near family and explore the Northwest. Kim had a 40 year career in finance and business operations spanning non-profit and industry research and development, education and financial services. She served as Chief Financial Officer for four organizations, and retired in 2018 as CFO of Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, a federally- funded laboratory that conducts unclassified research and development to address the world’s most urgent scientific challenges. In her free time, Kim loves to walk, read, do arts and crafts, and go on adventures. Kim and Chris have two wonderful daughters, two terrific sons-in-law, three delightful grandkids, and one sweet little dog.
